Cabin Information
- From its original knotty pine walls, to its large wood-burning stove, to the giant pine trees towering overhead, this is not a condo in the mountains -- this is classic, cozy, old-world cabin on a large wooded lot, but equipped with modern conveniences: TV (no cable), DVD player, receiver with port for iPod, full kitchen
- The cabin has two bedrooms (each has 1 queen bed) and one bathroom. In the main room, there is a very comfortable American Leather platform sleeper sofa (queen size) and a single daybed (with trundle bed underneath).
- Comforters and pillows are provided. Guests to bring own bed linens and towels.
- Gas wall heater and a large wood-burning stove. (Firewood is provided)
- Enjoy a BBQ under the trees with the charcoal BBQ, picnic table, hammock and a game of horseshoes/boule.
- Well-stocked market, Big Trees Market, is within walking distance. Open until 8 pm most days; 9pm in summer.
- There's no landline at the cabin, but there is a payphone next to Big Trees Market.
- Verizon is the only cellphone carrier that works well in Arnold. Cafe across the road, Bistro Espresso, has free WiFi for customers.

- Arnold is a little more than two hours from the East Bay.
